Our Stained Glass Windows Tell The Bible Story
 Genesis 2:7
The LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
 Genesis 3:24
After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden
cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
 Genesis 8:10-11
He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. When the dove
returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked
olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.
 Exodus 14:27
Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place.
The Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the LORD swept them into the sea.
 Exodus 31:18
When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the
two tablets of the Testimony, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
 1 Samuel 17:45
David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin,
but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty,
the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
 Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
 Daniel 6:22
My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me,
because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king."
 Luke 2:7
and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths
and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
 Mark 1:10
As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven
being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
 Matthew 14:26-29
When the disciples saw him walking on the lake,
they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said
to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Peter replied, "Lord, if it's you, tell me to
come to you on the water." Jesus said, "Come." Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on
the water and came toward Jesus.
 John 11:43-44
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud
voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of
linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."
 John 19:18-37
Here they crucified him, and with him two others--
one on each side and Jesus in the middle. Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross.
It read: "JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS." Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place
where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek.
The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, "Do not write 'The King of the Jews,' but that
this man claimed to be king of the Jews." Pilate answered, "What I have written, I have written."
When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for
each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from
top to bottom. "Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it."
This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said, "They divided my garments among
them and cast lots for my clothing." So this is what the soldiers did. Near the cross of Jesus
stood his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus
saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother,
"Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on,
this disciple took her into his home. Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that
the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there,
so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to
Jesus' lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed
his head and gave up his spirit. Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be
a special Sabbath. Because the Jews did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the
Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. The soldiers
therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then
those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not
break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden
flow of blood and water. The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true.
He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. These things
happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken,"
and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced."
 John 20:14-17
At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there,
but she did not realize that it was Jesus. "Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him,
and I will get him." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!"
(which means Teacher). Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father.
Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"
 Acts 1:9
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes,
and a cloud hid him from their sight.
 Revelation 19:11
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse,
whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.
